Event Description
This is a tailored program designed to help entrepreneurs, small business owners, and managers build and improve their financial skills and understanding. The course aims to provide practical guidance and tools to manage finances effectively, make informed decisions, and optimize financial performance within a business.
Facilitator
I am an Associate Professor in Finance and Accounting at Wits Business School, where I collaborate with entities like JSE to promote and empower individuals and businesses with essential finance skills and expertise. In addition, I am the co-founder and CEO of Thako Capital (Pty) Ltd, an organization at the forefront of capacity building through training, continuous small business support including through coaching, and research.
My previous experience includes working as an accounting officer at Standard Chartered Bank. I also serve on the boards of Nexio (a subsidiary of Vodacom, SA), Specialised Insurance Company (SIC), and Kutana Investments.
