Overview

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to function as a General Manager Public Service. A General Manager Public Service promotes administrative efficiency within government departments by rendering managerial services and support aligned to government policies. Typical attributes envisaged upon achievement of the qualification include leadership, strategist and analyst.

Objectives

Aims to develop professionals capable of overseeing the operations, performance, and strategic direction of public service departments or entities, ensuring that they operate efficiently, transparently, and in accordance with public sector regulations and policies.

Methodology
  • The knowledge and practical modules will be delivered in a hybrid format, combining both online and in-person classes.
  • The work experience module must be delivered in person.
